That's All Till Next Season

 So far we have four dates for 2002. They are, Snetterton 21 April - Pembrey 25/26 May - Snetterton (Mike Lewis, 8 hr) 24 August and Pembrey 28/29 September. We are currently under negotiation with a number of circuits and the fifth and final round and where it fits into the schedule will be announced as soon as possible.

That's it for the season.

 I was hoping to find enough funds to have a go at retaking the championships that I won last year but no cash means no ride. To say thanks to my mechanic Ian Robinson we decided that he would ride at Carnaby 2, he had a good day been it was the first time he had ever been road racing (while most others have had most of the season to learn there bikes and the track). He managed to get some top 10 finishes and even collected some prize money.

During the season I have managed to collect 72 podium finishes which 22 of them where in 1st place. I am now concentrating sorting out what my options are for next season, I like the look of the Ducati monster challenge at ten rounds of the British Superbikes.

Not bad for old steel framed 600 Honda against newer machinery just goes to show what you can still do with an old package.

Next season

 For next season if I manage to sell my Honda CBR600 FV (any takers ring or e-mail for spec). I would like to have a crack at the one make Ducati monster cup or maybe a GSXR or a R1, depending if I can raise the sponsorship for the superstock class with MRO, or even anything that anyone has to offer that might be interesting to race. If I don't sell the Honda I will probably be aiming to do the steel frames class with Derby Phoenix club.
