Alan Tanton moves up to the team having raced last year as a MAG member.

 Last year Alan got within two points of leading the 1300 Formula Clubmans Challenge with three round's remaining and hoped to take the Challenge but finances dictated otherwise

During the season he managed to collect 72 podium finishes which 22 of them where in 1st place.

Not bad for old steel framed 600 Honda against newer machinery just goes to show what you can still do with an old package.

Alan would like to thank Anthony and Robert Jackson of K.F.M for the help and support throughout the season. Also Paul and Robbo for their help taking the bike and himself to the rounds and then fixing it when he broke it.

For 2002 Alan is hoping to compete again (and retake the championship) in the Auto66 clubmans cup championship's including rounds at Olivers Mount in Scarborough and hopeful a few rounds of the MRO national championship's, if he can secure enough funds.

At present Alan has not secured a bike for the coming season but MAG Sport are supporting Alan's aims to retake the Auto66 championship so if there is any one out there with a redundant 600+ cc bike or even a 250 GP spec machine going spare get in touch with MAG Sport at magsport@mag-uk.org
