Jack Lilley Racing

Darren has just been invited to race a Triumph TT600 for Jack Lilley Racing at Donington Park on 11th March at the 1st round of the MRO Championship.

This is a one off ride with no guarantees of being able to ride the 600 in any other meetings, however considering our recent bad luck with the sponsor failing to deliver we are all delighted.

We will not be competing in the British GP250 Championships this year as our sponsor has pulled out and left us financially broke, however we aim to attend all the MRO rounds in 2001.

 A test session has been arranged for 17th February at Lydden Hill on the Triumph so that we have a chance to test the bike and get to grips with a 4 stroke as the power delivery and engine braking is so different to a GP250, not to mention the weight.

We will also be racing our 250 at Donington so it ought to be a very busy day. I just hope we adapt to the 600 quickly and give Jack Lilley Racing a good result in return.
