Mark Castle Latest August 2002

 In case you've been wondering what has happened to Mark Castle over the past few months he's been lying low for a while.

Mark has had a very good reason.

 The result of a massive highside off the 400, halfway round Chris Curve at Cadwell Park in April at a new era club meeting left Mark with a broken pelvis and cracked hip socket.

 So his racing's been a bit quiet all this season.

But he got the bike back together finally for a meeting at Darley two weeks ago. New frame, swing arm, fairings and just about every other part of the bike replaced or repaired! Mark was able to run the motor in which he'd had rebuilt and check that he was comfy on the bike.

To prove he's back into the swing of things he's at the Manx GP.
