Information on the National Superstock Championship

This Class is aimed to be close to standard road bikes as possible. Whilst being a cost effective budget this class gives close racing and highlights riders ability. The rules are tight towards what can be changed from the standard machine. The motorcycles are production road bikes with unlimited engine size. The class is for national license holders and above.

Basic Rules

No engine tuning is allowed except a blue print.

Front fork internals may be replaced, rear suspension units may be changed.

The exhaust system may be replaced for a race silencer

A change of gearing using different sprockets is allowed.

Ant brake hoses or brake pads may be fitted.

The foot pegs may be changed for greater ground clearance.

Tyres must be road legal. Race compound tyres may be used. In wet weather a full race wet tyre may be used.

Lighting equipment, stands and auxiliary equipment must be removed.
Bodywork can be changed to lightweight race bodywork.

The Championship will be run by the Motorcycle Racing Organisation.

The top three at each round will qualify to race at the next British Superstock round.

The Championship is over twelve rounds.

The Motorcycle Racing Organisation is hoping to secure television coverage for all of the National Championships on Sky television.
