Knocked Out

Knocked Out

My next meeting was the superclub round at Pembrey which was not a great success as someone knocked me off in practice on Friday and I woke up in hospital with torn shoulder ligaments and no memory of what happened.

However the rest of my year was quite successful despite the shoulder injury making life difficult.

I got my first trophy with 2 third places at Snetterton and my first win at the ACU Clubmans which was held on my home track Cadwell Park. I ended the season with 2 seconds at Mallory which left me 4th in the championship which I am very happy with for my first season racing.

Next year I will be sticking with CB500's and aiming to win the club championship now that I know my way round the tracks. I will also be entering the Superclub series in order to keep learning against the stiffer competition although finances dictate that unless I find a sponsor I will be forced to choose one championship or the other before mid season.

Regards
