ALEX GAULT
Alex has raced minimotos for the past 3 years, reaching European level and twice ACU National Champion and still 13 years old.
In 2003 he made the transition to Motorcycle racing, contending the Junior Racing Association Championship on a 70cc Moto Hispania.
In his debut year he won the Formula 80cc Championship, breaking a few records on the way.
Alex was the first class champion to come from outside England (Alex is from Carluke near Motherwell, Scotland), the first time the championship has been won on bike other than a Cagiva.
Alex also broke the fastest Formula 80cc lap record at every track he visited.
Since sitting on a minibike in August 2000 and his first race in September 2000, finishing 8th. Alex has managed to become:

Alex will defend his JRA Championship in 2004 and hopes to campaign on a Honda RS125 GP bike in preparation for 2005.
