Wirral 100 “ Oulton Park ”

We took the chance to combine the official BSB test day on the Friday with the second round of this clubs championship on the Saturday at another new track to Alex the picturesque Oulton Park near Chester .

This must be without hesitation the best track for a rider in the country the 2.8 mile circuit a mix of blind and undulating corners.

Every thing turned out very well as the weather was a mix of sunshine and showers, giving Alex his first chance to ride the Malaguti in the rain and we also took time to try some new stuff with the bike.

On race day with one race held in damp conditions and the other race dry, the weather never changed the results with Alex having a close race long battle with Carl Thomas Andrews (Colin Appleyard Racing) Alex managed to pip him to the post to come home 3 rd in both races behind Ashley Beech (Colin Appleyard Racing) and Jenny Tinmouth (Two Wheel Racing).
