Alex Gault - Reaps the Rewards After Knockhill - 2006

We are very pleased to announce that after the stunning performance Alex put in the first round of the championships at Knockhill on his RVF400, we were contacted by Stuart Young of YPE Ltd, the countries premier engine builders & Dyno Centre, inviting Alex to join “The YPE Power Team”

After lengthy discussions, the details are now finalised.

This year YPE Ltd is to look after Alex engines starting with a full rebuild on his RVF 400. The team are to contend three classes in the Scottish Championships Torquil Paterson in Sports Production, Murry Strathdee in Production 400 and Alex as the junior team member in the formula or Superbike 400 class.

This is fantastic news and Alex is very happy with the new arrangements, as this will give him the chance to push forward with expert backing, increase the chances of adding other championships to his C.V. while increasing the exposure given to Alex’s existing sponsors.

Stuart Young and Dougie Knox, are putting tremendous effort in on behalf of Alex and their team there are some deals still pending, however we are able to confirm, ERS suspension will be looking after that side of things for the team, it has been a long time since Alex has had this sort of support,
