Alex Gault September

First outing this month, took us to the newly formed L.C.R.R.C. (Low Capacity Road Race Club) This newly formed club caters for every thing under 50cc, Minimoto, Super Moto, Conti Cup UK & open 50cc Gp.

Thanks to sponsors Specialised Coatings, Alex got the loan of Max Wodsworths bike and a chance to ride in the UK Conti Cup. This is the French version of the Spanish Metrakit.

Great racing again, starting from the back of the grid in every race as Alex does not contend this championship, he managed to finish the 6 races with 3 x 3rd places, 2 x 2nd places and had a convincing win, in the one wet race of weekend.

This was a FANTASTIC result as the only bikes to beat him were sponsored by "Monster Mob"! & "Sabre Sport"!

Report, up on his site at www.minimotoracer.com

Alex wins JRA Championship. Full Report Here

Round seven of this championship and Alex had the chance to secure it, if he won the points race. Practice on the Sunday morning saw a number of fallers, put down to the early morning dew, making the track very slippery, In fact Alex practice was stopped due to an accident at the hairpin.

We were very pleased to see one of the men, which made this all possible. Jamie Masterman of E.P.BARRUS. Make the trip to Darley, to see for him self, what we were up to. I am glad to say he was very impressed with both what we have did to the Motorhispania Rx and Alex's riding.

In the first race, the trophy race, Alex made a fantastic start (which is unusual for him) catapulting him into the middle of the 125 pack and the lead of the formula 80's from there, he lead the race home.

Then onto the championship race, scheduled as race 13 in the 24-race programme. So at least we'd get an early start home, no matter what the result. He did win it, and he is now the Junior Racing Association Champion, As he now leads the championship by 19 points with only 18 points available at the last round.

This has been a fantastic experience for Alex. Remember at the start of the year, we didn't even know how competitive Alex (his first year on big bikes) or the Motorhispania Rx would be, With help from all of you, not only has he won this championship, but from 14 formula 80 meetings, he has won 12 of them. From the hundreds of competitors at each, he has won 4 Bike Sport News Performance of the meeting awards. Holds the lap record for Darley Moor & has had the fastest lap this year on a formula 80 round Three Sisters, Cadwell, Mallory and Ty-Croes & has won to-date, every wet race.
Give yourselves a pat on the back!!!! It is with you being a part, of this winning team, that has made this all possible.

Minimoto.

The penultimate round of the MMRA British championship was held a Rowrah in Cumbria. Again the same story, absolutely CRAP practice and qualifying, and I mean worst ever! Back of the grid for Junior supers, back of the grid for the Classic class. Which is to be expected with us spending very little time on bikes and none on practice / set up. However Sunday dawned and he again raised his game, finishing second in both classes. Full report up on his web site soon.
