MPS RACING - MAG SPORT RACING 2007
New to MAG Sport for 2007 is MPS Racing an Enduro team competing in the British and European Enduro Championships.
The team is captained by Mick Seward, Enduro aficionado, and former TT rider (So he's old, bold, and muddy!).
The team was created with the aim of encouraging young riders to compete at a higher level and to supply financial assistance to let them develop their skills.
Oh, and winning if we could!
The aims of the team fit in with the ethos of MAG Sport and we wish them all well in achieving these.
The 2006 season, which for the first season was very successful with Sean Robinson winning expert E 2 and 3rd overall and Ricky Mair 14th overall and 8th in E1 championship class.
The team is funded by Mick Seward and valued sponsors and Mick believes we have a lot of young talent in the UK and with a bit of help they can go all the way to the top.

A LOOK BACK AT 2006: from Mick Seward
Our first year competing as a team, and not a bad start!
We have competed in over 20 events, travelled over 14,000 miles, been to over 15 countries yet had only 4 mechanical breakdowns and with 100 % reliability from TE and WR 250.
Ricky won his first BEC event and had 2 top 10 overall finishes, podium finishes in Scottish open MX (on a 125) top 10 in fast eddy races, top place finish in dawn to dusk iron man and 2 wins in north of England enduros.
Sean won BEC E2 championship and 3rd overall winning races all year. 1st in north riding multi lap championship, 3rd in dawn to dusk with Mick as team mate, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in north of England enduros and 3rd overall.
Mick 4th BEC vets class, 3rd in dawn to dusk with Sean as team mate, silver medal in ISDE.
For 2007 we will have new riders as Ricky is concentrating on his first love and will be riding in the British and Scottish MX championships and we wish him all the best.
Sean has decided to take a year out as his knee is so badly damaged that it requires surgery and his doctor has advised him not to ride until after surgery and then at least 3 months after so we wish him a speedy recovery.
All this was achieved with total commitment from riders, team and sponsors without whose help we couldn't have competed.
Many thanks to all. Service team, Marnie, Will, Jonny, Jake, Jim, Becs, John, Andy and Caroline. Sponsors- Mark and Alec at NTB Racing (York) Husky Sport, Motul, Ryedale mc. White Horse Contractors, MRS (Gaerne), 3 City Recovery, John at Cyclescene, DR Shox, Dave Scott at Apico, Wyn Hughes and West Yorkshire Van Centre (VW)
