TT 100 gets into top gear on January 1st 2007 when Isle of Man Post Office launches its commemorative issue - The Isle of Man TT All Time Greats - to celebrate the festival’s centenary.

Ten of the event’s most outstanding riders are depicted, chosen by TT historians and fans, with supporting text provided by Isle of Man-born motorcycling journalist Mike Duckworth.

The 10 all-time greats chosen are Stanley Woods, Geoff Duke OBE, Bob McIntyre, Mike Hailwood MBE, GC, Giacomo Agostini, Steve Hislop, Joey Dunlop MBE, OBE, David Jefferies, Dave Molyneux and John McGuinness.

The stamps form a key part of the range of TT 100 merchandise available through Isle of Man Post Office and produced in association with Duke Video and Lily Publications. Topping the range of TT 100 collectables was a deluxe boxed collection of premium products and memorabilia priced at £249 produced in a limited edition of 500 but this has already sold out.

The post office’s Dot Tilbury said: ‘As well as the stamps, which celebrate some of the TT’s most famous riders, there’s a whole range of other exciting official licensed products, including a centenary folder, prepaid postcards, first day cover, presentation pack and much more, some of which feature images never published before. The TT’s always a great event but in 2007 it promises to be the best ever and we’re delighted to be playing our part in paying tribute to this world famous festival of motorcycling.’

Issue date for TT100 The Centenary of the TT Races 2007 is issued 1st January 2007 www.iompost.com
