MAG Sport Racing News 2008 The 58th Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Race Issued 26th August 2008 The 58th Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races has secured a prominent sponsorship deal with one of the leading specialist motorcycle racing publishers in the British Isles. Road Racing Ireland magazine has agreed to provide sponsorship to this most prestigious event at Oliver’s Mount, which will take place over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 20th & 21st September. Road Racing Ireland magazine is the longest running ‘road racing’ title in the British Isles , having celebrated its 23rd anniversary in May this year. The Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races is attracting the creme de la creme of the road racing competitors and promises to be the best entry for many a year. Topping the list of solo competitors of Kirmington’s Guy Martin, winner of the last five Gold Cup races. Once again the fast-talking rider will be on the Hydrex Bike-Animal Honda and is set on retaining the magnificent Steve Henshaw Gold Cup for a record sixth consecutive year. Advance ticket sales are available through the Race Office and are proving so popular, only a limited number remain. The Advance ticket gains you access into the Paddock Area on both Race Days.
