Dunmow Motorcycle Club Announce their Race Fixtures for 2009

The first event of the season in the Club’s annual Scramble at Stebbing on Bank Holiday Sunday 3 May, the event is for Solos and Sidecars. The Sidecar racing will include a round of the National Sidecar Support Championships.
Practice is at midday and racing starts at 1.30pm on a track that features many large jumps and a good old fashioned mud hole.
The next event is Grass Track races that take place on Sunday 14 June at Ugley Hall Farm, Ugley, near Stansted, Essex. Practice gets underway at Mid-day with a 48 race programme starting at 1.30pm.
This event is being held at the famous Ugley Bowl which is renown for good close racing and this year the Club are reviving the prestigous Inter Centre Team Championships in which the best riders from all over the country ride for their geographical regional team.
The event has not been run since 2000 when the Eastern team won all 3 solos events at Bridgewater in Somerset.
All the events cater for solo and sidecar motorcycles.
The club is prepared for any potential dust problems with a water cart and pump and the circuit is watered on a little and often basis.
Admission for the events is £10.00 for adults, £8.00 for OAP’s and Children just £1.00 each.
