Yamaha Austria Racing Team took the victory at the 8 Hours of Doha. Igor Jerman, Steve Plater and Steve Martin gave YART their first victory in the Endurance World Championship.

Team Kawasaki France took victory at the Oschersleben 8 Hours, fourth round of the Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship, with a one-lap lead over Yamaha Austria Racing Team and two laps over Suzuki Endurance Racing Team.

The 8 Hours of Oschersleben, fourth round of the 2008 Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship, will take place Saturday 9 August in Germany. This 8 Hours event will be partly at night, with a 3 pm start on Saturday for an 11 pm finish.
